Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using SkillBridge+ ("Service," "platform," or "we"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

SkillBridge+ is an AI-powered veteran recruiting operations system. We help transitioning service members and veterans find careers, build resumes, and apply to jobs. We also help employers post jobs and connect with veteran talent. The Service includes web-based tools for profiles, resumes, job search, applications, tracking, and (for paid plans) tailored resumes and interview practice. We are not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) or the official SkillBridge program.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

You must create an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. The Service is intended for users who are at least 16 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. By using the employer features, you represent that you have authority to act on behalf of your company.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws.
• Impersonate others or provide false information.
• Scrape, automate, or overload our systems without permission.
• Interfere with the security or operation of the Service or other users.
• Use the Service to spam, harass, or harm others.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

5. Payment and Subscriptions

Some features require a paid plan (e.g., Pro Monthly or Transition Pass). Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms and to pay all fees associated with your plan. Subscription fees are billed in advance; one-time purchases (e.g., Transition Pass) are charged once. You may cancel a subscription in accordance with our billing flow; we do not provide refunds for partial periods unless required by law. We may change pricing with notice; continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

6. Your Content and Licenses

You retain ownership of the content you submit (e.g., resumes, profile data). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and process that content to provide and improve the Service (e.g., to generate tailored resumes, show applications to employers). Our names, logos, and the Service's design and code are our intellectual property; you may not copy or use them without our permission.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee specific job outcomes, accuracy of job listings, or uninterrupted service. We are not the DoD or the official SkillBridge program; we are an independent platform. AI-generated content (e.g., resume suggestions) is for assistance only—you are responsible for reviewing and approving it before use. Employers are responsible for their job postings and hiring decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkillBridge+ and its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in such cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases; we may retain and use your data as described in our Privacy Policy (e.g., for legal compliance).

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
